1 cup butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour

Cherry Bonbon Cookies
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup flour
24 candied cherries
Confectioners sugar frosting
