Sweet and Citrus Marinade

From the Courier-Journal (Louisville, KY):

Sweet and Citrus Marinade

1/2 cup brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, mashed
1/2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons Dijon or other European-style mustard
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
6 tablespoons olive oil

Combine ingredients in zipper-style plastic bag. Swish around to dissolve sugar and salt. Add chicken or beef. Marinate 10 to 60 minutes. Drain meat; discard marinade. If cooking the meat more than 10 minutes, cook over indirect heat.
